Why Conversations?

We developed Conversations because we were playing a game one day and realized that we were remembering these made up words from the game.

This got us thinking about how we could apply language learning to a game. Being Psychology majors, we developed a system integrate languages to the game.

Each player starts off with a deck of 50 cards (nouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, special game cards)
Each player draws a starting hand of 7 cards. Up to 3 Mulligans allowed.
The top card from the Verb deck is flipped over. This is the verb each player has to play off of.
Players play any number of cards from their hand to form a sentence off of the verb. (The sentence must make sense to count for a score)
Each card has a point value. The total points are added up & the player with the most points, wins the round.
Each player shuffles the played cards from the round into the deck and then draws enough cards to replenish their hand back to 7.
The verb is put in the bottom of the verb deck.
Repeat the same process over again for the next round.
